Try prepping on the weekend. Many healthy foods freeze well, can be transported easily and nuked at the office. Develop your inner Martha Stewart people…I know you can.
Tempting…but try not to eat at your desk while you are working. Similar to snacking while watching TV, it’s easy to mindlessly over do it when you are distracted. If you have a lunchroom, use it or any other quiet, clean, peaceful place where you can focus on and enjoy your food.
KEEP A HEALTHY STASH
Get the munchies at 3:00 p.m.? Stash healthy snacks in your desk – avoid the vending machine, sugar and additional caffeine.
Move more during the day – It will help curb your appetite. That walk around the block at lunchtime will not only improve your mood, energy level, burn calories and help with attention, it will also help curb your appetite.
