Career Development workshops have been scheduled in May and June, and are open for registration. The May-June time frame – following the flush of activity at the end of the semester – can be a good time to take a fresh look at your goals and skills.
These workshops address a range of topics to help staff members plan career development action steps toward connecting their talents, strengths and interests with opportunity areas on campus.
Workshops are open for registration (Pre-registration is required.) To review course descriptions and reserve your spot, visit: http://hr.berkeley.edu/development/career-development/workshops or see the attached. To register for a workshop, click on its date, OR visit the UC Learning Center:
1. Go to http://blu.berkeley.edu.
2. Authenticate using your Calnet I.D.
3. Select “UCB Learning Center” in the “Self Service” section.
4. From there, click on the “Learn” tab, then “Learning Activities.”
5. Search for the appropriate workshop by the class code (BECAR###) to find the specific course.

In addition, consult the Wisdom Cafe (http://wisdomcafe.berkeley.edu/), and other online resources available to UC Berkeley staff at no cost such as Lynda.com.
